Phalaenopsis bellina
A compact, hot-growing orchid species endemic to Borneo, celebrated as the "Queen of Fragrance" for its potent, sweet, candy-citrus scent. Unlike mass-market hybrids, it blooms sequentially from summer to autumn on short, persistent spikes that should never be cut while green. The star-shaped flowers feature waxy, light-green petals with a striking magenta-purple flush, while the plant itself requires high humidity (60–80%), bright filtered light, and consistent moisture without drying out completely.
