A spectacular, large-growing orchid from Brazil that thrives in bright, indirect light with good air movement. It prefers warm daytime temperatures between 20°C and 26°C, requiring a slight drop at night to help trigger its fragrant, flame-lipped summer blooms. Grow it in a coarse, well-draining bark mixture, watering thoroughly but allowing the medium to dry out almost completely between waterings to prevent root rot. More info here.
