Cattleya nobilior x sib
A compact, highly fragrant orchid species native to the seasonal dry forests of South America, famous for its unique habit of producing large, rose-lavender blooms directly from its base rhizome rather than the top of the leaves. Growing from stocky, two-leaved pseudobulbs, this orchid requires exceptionally bright light, open basket or mount culture, and a heavy watering regimen during the summer. To trigger its spectacular, citrus-scented spring flowers, growers must provide a strict, dry winter rest period that mimics the harsh droughts of its native Brazilian habitat.
Limited amount of Micro Hobby Flasks (5 plants) available. Cross between a darker and lighter pink - variations to be expected.
