Bulbophyllum longissimum

A spectacular epiphytic orchid prized for its striking, fan-like clusters of flowers featuring trailing lateral sepals that can reach up to 40 cm in length. Thriving in warm-to-hot conditions, it requires bright, filtered indirect light and an optimal daytime temperature range between 20°C and 29°C, with a minimum winter night threshold of 13°C. Due to its creeping habit and extensive root system, it grows best when mounted on cork bark or housed in shallow, well-draining baskets. Regular watering and a consistent relative humidity of 70% to 85% are essential.
