Brassavola appendiculata

A fragrant, easy to grow, epiphytic orchid species Mexico and Central America.

Known for its striking star-shaped white blooms and a captivating citrus fragrance that intensifies at night, this orchid should be a part of any orchid collection. Its hardy, succulent-like foliage makes it one of the easiest orchids to maintain in our local climate.

Care Guide:

  • Temperature: Prefers Warm to Hot conditions ( to ). Protect from frost and extreme cold in southern states during winter.

  • Watering: Follow a "Wet and Dry" cycle. Water daily in summer (if mounted) and scale back significantly in winter to mimic its natural dry season.
