Aerangis luteo-alba - var. rhodostricta

A miniature epiphytic orchid native to tropical Africa, particularly regions from Cameroon to Kenya and Tanzania. It is best grown mounted on cork or hardwood to suit its pendulous habit, requiring a bright spot with filtered light but protection from direct midday sun. It thrives in intermediate to warm temperatures (16–28°C) and demands high humidity year-round. During the active growing season, water daily and use a weak orchid fertiliser fortnightly, ensuring excellent air circulation to avoid crown rot during humid summers or wet cold days.
